William Rutledge Death; The Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Hart County
A single-vehicle collision was reported to Kentucky State Police Post 03 Bowling Green shortly before 10:00 a.m. At the 54.9-mile marker on Interstate 65, troopers arrived on the scene.
According to an initial inquiry, William Rutledge, 59, of Etoile, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 north on Interstate 65. The car overturned as Mr. Rutledge’s vehicle veered off to the right of the road. The Hart County Coroner declared Mr. Rutledge dead at the scene.
Trooper Mason Roten will be in charge of the ongoing investigation. The Hart County Fire Department, Hart County EMS, Hart County Sheriff’s Office, and other KSP staff helped him at the scene.
