Wayne Lightfoot Obituary, Death; In Loving Memory Of Wayne Lightfoot
Bowling Green resident Silas Wayne Lightfoot, age 63, died quietly at the Medical Centre at Bowling Green on Thursday, February 13, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family.
The late Shirley Wayne and Peggy Harlow Lightfoot were the parents of Wayne, as he was known, who was born in Bowling Green. Wayne’s grandson, Kodie Cardwell, and stepdaughter, Cammy Page, also passed away before him. Wayne owned and ran Like New Body Shop and was a farmer. The First Pentecostal Church was his church. He used to enjoy drag racing, riding horses, and hunting birds.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Diane Lightfoot; son, Tyler Wayne Lightfoot (Laura); step son, Shannon Cardwell both of Bowling Green; half-brother, Chad Allen Lightfoot; grandchildren, Sumer Green and Wyatt Cardwell; a great grandson, Autsin Burton; and an uncle Lewis Ray Lightfoot (Vickey) of Texas.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday all at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Thursday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
