
Roger Dailey Death, Obituary; Cromwell police ID Middletown man found dead
The name of the man who was discovered dead in a car fire in a municipal park last week—which was determined to be an accidental death—has been made public by the police. The guy murdered in the automobile fire was identified by Cromwell police as Middletown resident Roger Dailey. According to police, he was 67.
According to the agency, Dailey’s death was declared “accidental” by the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Authorities claimed that a car was on fire at Riverport Park in Frisbee Landings on Sunday, February 9, after receiving multiple 911 calls.
When police and firefighters arrived, they discovered a “vehicle fully engulfed in fire,” according to a news release from the police. Following the extinguishment of the fire by Cromwell firemen, officials discovered one deceased individual inside the car.
