
Joseph Falciani Death; Carmine Neri Charged With Murder Of Joseph Falciani
Authorities said a 63-year-old male from Wildwood Crest was taken into custody and charged with shooting a guy in the chest on Wednesday, February 12.
According to the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, Carmine Neri was discovered standing in the front living room of a house on East Cresse Avenue when Wildwood Crest officers arrived at 3:46 p.m.
According to investigators, Neri’s back pocket contained a black and silver revolver. At the top of a staircase, officers found Joseph Falciani lying on his back with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to investigators. According to authorities, Falciani was declared deceased at the spot.
According to investigators, witnesses reported that Neri and Falciani argued and that they heard one gunshot before finding Falciani laying at the top of the stairway and Neri in possession of a revolver. According to investigators, an office door next to the crime site was closed and showed signs of being kicked in with force.
According to authorities, Neri was accused of murder, putting a child’s safety in jeopardy, and unlawfully possessing a weapon.
According to authorities, he is being held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
