
Holly Knight Death, Obituary; woman who was strangled to death at a Louisville addiction treatment center has been identified
The identity of the lady who died from strangulation at an addiction treatment facility in Louisville has been revealed.
The victim was named Thursday by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office as Holly Knight, 48. Strangulation was identified as the cause of her death.
Two days after a patient at a Louisville addiction treatment facility was discovered dead in her room, 48-year-old Angela Hensley was taken into custody by Louisville Metro Police officers.
Surveillance footage from Praxis of Louisville by Landmark Recovery in the Hazelwood neighbourhood shows Hensley entering Knight’s room on Sunday. According to Louisville Metro Police investigators, Knight was seen standing when Hensley first entered his room.

The arrest citation states that the victim is observed lying on the floor and Hensley is seen leaving the room approximately four minutes later. She then repeatedly returns to the room without informing the staff of the victim’s condition.
Hensley told LMPD detectives, “She said she wanted to die so I killed her,” the arrest citation states.
She returned to the room multiple times, Hensley continued, because “she wasn’t dead yet” and “I f****** finished killing her.”
Hensley’s accusation was raised from attempted murder to murder on Wednesday morning. Her bond was set at $1 million by a court.
