David Pozner,Andrew Ferrin Death; 43-year-old father accused of kidnapping a 4-year-old is also facing three counts of first-degree murder
In addition to three counts of first-degree murder, the 43-year-old father is charged with kidnapping a 4-year-old.
Mary’s father, 64-year-old David Pozner, was discovered dead from a gunshot wound on the back patio of a house located at 5897 North Plum Bay Parkway in Tamarac early on Sunday. Deputies were called to the scene.
The absence of 4-year-old Seraphina Gingles and her mother, 34-year-old Mary Gingles, was found by the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO). This sparked speculation that the two might be with Nathan Gingles, Seraphina’s estranged father, against whom Mary had a protection order.
Deputies say they found Seraphina and Nathan in his BMW x3 at 7900 West McNab Road in North Lauderdale at approximately 11 a.m., after an AMBER Alert alerted Broward County citizens to be alert for Mary and Seraphina.
Later, a gun that the BSO Dive Team believes Nathan used in the crimes was discovered in a nearby canal. They brought Nathan Gingles to the BSO Public Safety Building. He was taken into custody and is charged with three counts of interference with custody, violating a domestic violence order, and first-degree murder with a handgun.
