Alexander Carlquist Arrested; Daviess County Shooting Suspect, Alexander Carlquist Arrested in Perry County Following Extensive Search
Authorities in Perry County, Indiana, successfully arrested 35-year-old Alexander J. Carlquist on Saturday morning after conducting a thorough search in a wooded area in the Oriole/Branchville area. In relation to a shooting incident that took place in Daviess County, he was wanted.
Following information that suggested Carlquist would be in the region, the Indiana State Police began a manhunt in Perry County in close conjunction with local law enforcement.
Officials from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office say the incident happened on Friday, February 16 at about 15075 N US Highway 231 at 2:05 a.m. After receiving a call for help from Martin County, deputies arrived at the scene and found a man victim who had been shot multiple times.
