Christopher Bonilla Sr. Death; Victim identified in early Sunday morning shooting in Lansing
The victim who was found shot by police on S. Pennsylvania Ave. Sunday morning was identified as Christopher Bonilla Sr., 45 of Lansing.
Police were dispatched to the 5900 block of S. Pennsylvania Ave. around 1:00 a.m. The Lansing Police Department said they provided Bonilla Sr. with medical care before transporting him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The person of interest, a 36-year-old man, awaits formal charges from the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office.
