JTanya Kuria Death; Victim identified in deadly accident involving a pedestrian Saturday
The identify of the pedestrian who died after being struck by a truck in Evansville on Saturday was made public by the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office.
JTanya Kuria, 66, of Evansville, died from injuries sustained at the scene of the collision, which occurred close to the intersection of Diamond Avenue and Stringtown Road, according to the coroner’s office.
According to Evansville Police, a truck heading west on Diamond Avenue struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the street at approximately six o’clock on Saturday.
The accident is still being looked into by Evansville Police.
