Harry Thompson Death, Obituary; Young Ambassadors, Harry Thompson, passed away at the end of November, following his battle with a brain tumour
We regret to inform you of the passing of Harry Thompson, one of our beloved Young Ambassadors, who fought a brain tumour and lost his life at the end of November.
Since his diagnosis, Harry dedicated himself to raising awareness and funds to improve the lives of others affected by a brain tumour diagnosis. Volunteering for The Charity as well as younglivesvscancer , Harry bravely first shared his story as part of our NationalEyeHealthWeek Campaign. He used his voice to highlight the importance of regular eye tests and their role in detecting brain tumours. Not stopping there, he also hit the streets delivering Better Safe Than Tumour leaflets to his community.
A passionate fundraiser, Harry’s incredible determination saw him raise an over £8.7K through big bakes, racing and 00’s music nights. He was so driven in making a difference and was an integral member of our Young Ambassador group. We are so grateful to Harry and the lasting impact he has made.
Harry’s passing serves as a reminder of why we must continue further and faster, so that all of those affected by a brain tumours can live longer and better lives.
