
Barre, Chloe Lynn Death, Obituary; Chloe was tragically taken in a SxS accident
Chloe was tragically killed in a SxS accident early on February 10, 2025.
Her friend Belle Weaver posted the tragic news of her death on Facebook.
The incident involved three people, with one male driver and one female passenger killed at the site, and the third, Edward McComas III, seeking assistance at a neighbouring home.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s report, alcohol is believed to have contributed to the crash.
Chloe was only 22 years old when she passed away.
Her demise has left the community, her friends, and her family in mourning, grieving the loss of someone so young and full of life.
Chloe graduated with the 2020 class from Parkersburg South High School. Chloe was a server at The Galley in Marietta and Texas Roadhouse in Parkersburg. There, she made a lot of amazing friends and some second mothers. Chloe treasured and loved her coworkers.
From writing to drawing, Chloe’s passion was art. She loved getting all of the brides and bridesmaids ready for their special day and was an expert at doing makeup. Chloe was a girly girl, as everyone who knew her would attest.
Her motto in life was “the good ones show up late” and “always leave a little sparkle wherever you go”.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Tim Craddock officiating. Her family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home.
